Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the expansion of the Honhaar Scholarship program, now extending its benefits to students from Gilgit-Baltistan pursuing professional education in Punjab. This initiative aims to strengthen educational ties and provide financial assistance to deserving students.
Faizullah Firaaq, spokesperson for the Gilgit-Baltistan government, praised Punjab’s commitment to education and expressed deep appreciation for the move. He described it as a crucial step in fostering academic collaboration between Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan, ensuring that students from remote areas have access to quality education.
To facilitate students and ensure a smooth application process, a dedicated Honhaar Scholarship Help Desk has been established. The help desk operates from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering guidance and addressing concerns related to the scholarship program.
