i2c to establish incubation center at University of Sargodha

A three-member delegation from a multinational leading technology company, “i2c Inc” visited the University of Sargodha (UoS) to explore the potential for establishing a state-of-the-art incubation center at the University. The delegation was composed of top executives from i2c, and aimed to provide technical, financial, and mentorship support in setting up the center.

Founded in 2001, and headquartered in Silicon Valley, i2c’s next-generation issuer processing technology helps organizations drive revenue growth, scale and adapt to change while supporting millions of users in more than 200 countries and territories and all time zones.

The delegation also visited the existing incubation center at the university and held discussions with the administration, incubators, and the students to exchange ideas and knowledge. They also explored various opportunities for collaboration and the future prospects of the incubation center.

On the occasion, Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas expressed “This collaboration between i2c and the University of Sargodha is a major step towards promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the region and will have a long-lasting impact on the local community.”

He further added that the establishment of the incubation center is expected to provide a major boost to the local economy and create numerous job opportunities for the students of the University of Sargodha. It will also provide a platform for young entrepreneurs and startups to turn their ideas into successful businesses.
