The International School of Choueifat (ISC) celebrated its Grade 12 Graduation with an inspiring address by Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, Ibrahim Hasan Murad, the President of University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore. Mr Murad, an alumnus of ISC, delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech that resonated with graduates, parents, and faculty alike.

In his address, Murad emphasized the vital role that the support of parents and teachers plays in building the confidence and self-belief of students. He gave special acknowledgments to Ms. Margo, Mr. Ashraf Nawabi, and Mr. Geha for their significant contributions to the school community.
Reflecting on his own journey, Murad shared his humble beginnings as an average student at ISC, expressing his amazement at standing before the graduates as the keynote speaker. “Life is full of surprises,” he remarked, underscoring that perseverance, selflessness, and faith are key to overcoming obstacles and achieving the impossible.
Murad’s speech took a poignant turn as he recounted the loss of his father. He explained how this personal tragedy fueled his determination to expand his scholarship program, providing greater opportunities for youth. He emphasized that while personal achievements bring happiness, true contentment is found in helping others.
“Education is transformative,” Murad stated passionately, “and making it accessible to all is my mission.” He urged the graduates to remember their roots, uphold their integrity, and give back to society. His message of civic engagement and using one’s education to create positive change was a call to action for the new graduates.
