The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi (UoK) successfully held its PhD Degree Programme 2024 entrance test on Sunday, marking the second intake for the program this year.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The examination took place at the L.E.J. National Science Information Center from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, with dozens of aspiring Ph.D. candidates participating.
According to a spokesperson for the ICCBS, strict security measures were implemented under the guidance of Prof Dr Farzana Shaheen, Director of the ICCBS. Only authorized individuals were permitted on the test premises to ensure a smooth and secure examination process.
Test results are set to be announced on January 5, 2025, via the ICCBS and Karachi University websites. Admissions will be awarded strictly on merit, in line with the University’s higher education policies.
Candidates who pass the written test will advance to the interview phase, scheduled for January 7, 2025. Successful candidates from the interview will secure admission to prestigious institutions within the University of Karachi, including the Dr Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) and the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry.
