The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) has awarded Shafiqa Naeem Rajput, a promising MPhil scholar at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD), University of Karachi, an ISSCR Travel Award valued at $1550. This award will enable her to attend the ISSCR 2024 Annual Meeting in Hamburg, Germany, from July 10-13, 2024.

Adding to the accolades, Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi, Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi, and Prof. Dr. Atta-ur Rahman, Professor Emeritus and former Federal Minister for Science and Technology, also praised Rajput for her remarkable achievement. Both emphasized the importance of such international recognition for Pakistani scholars and the role it plays in advancing the nation’s scientific landscape.
