IJT re-elects Shakeel Ahmad as Nazim e aala for 2023-24

Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) Pakistan elected new office bearers for the year 2023-24 as former Nazim Aala Shakeel Ahmad was elected once again.

Shakeel Ahmad is currently studying at Qurtuba University of Science and Information Technology (QUSIT) Peshawar while newly elected General Secretary Asad Qureshi is a student at Dawood University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) Karachi.

The election was held at the 70th three-day annual gathering of IJT members at Karachi which was attended by Ameer Jamat e Islami Pakistan (JIP)  Siraj ul Haq, Secretary General Ameer ul Azeem, Liaqat Baloch and Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman. The event was attended by more than 2000 members of IJT belonging to all across Pakistan.

During the annual meeting, the performance report of hundreds of Jamiat units across the country was also presented, on which Jamiat members expressed their satisfaction.

In his inaugural address, the newly elected Nazim Shakeel Ahmad instructed the students to focus on their education and training. He said that a special campaign will be conducted for the student union elections.

Addressing the gathering, the members from all over the country said that Pakistan is going through the most expensive period in history, The rulers have brought the poor to the grave. They further said that if Islam is kept aside, why are secular people not able to fix Pakistan’s economy?
