Inauguration Ceremony Marks New Era for NCA Gilgit Campus

The National College of Arts (NCA) Gilgit campus celebrated a significant milestone today with the inauguration of an exhibition showcasing students’ artworks and the unveiling of new state-of-the-art facilities, including an IT lab and a library. The ceremony was attended by several esteemed dignitaries, such as Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Abrar Ahmed Mirza, Secretary IT, Secretary Tourism and Communication, DS to CS, DC Nagar, AC Gilgit, and other notable personalities.

Vice Chancellor of NCA, Prof Dr Murtaza Jafri, presented the vision and mission of NCA in the region to Chief Secretary Mirza. The event featured performances by students on traditional instruments, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Chief Secretary Mirza praised the efforts of NCA in Gilgit-Baltistan for their dedication to providing quality education in the fields of art and design. He emphasized the significance of such institutions in nurturing local talent and preserving cultural heritage.
