The Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is hosting its annual Degree Show from the 20th to the 24th of December 2021.

More than 130 students’ thesis projects are on display across the campus. IVS’s 2021 Degree Show features work from graduating students in the Fine Art, Architecture, Communication Design, Textile Design, and Interior Design programmes.  This year also marks a milestone for the Department of Textile Design as the first batch of Fashion Design students presents their thesis projects.

Each department has representatives on the floor to give visitors an overview of the projects and insight into the creative process. All students have completed rigorous, research-intensive, locally-rooted Bachelor’s degree programs over four years (five in the case of Architecture), after which their thesis projects are critiqued by local and international experts from industry and academia.

The IVS Degree Show has always warranted attention from the creatives of the country, and this year has been no different. The university was honoured to host Oscar-winning director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Sanam Saeed and Hania Amir, among others, at the event.

Visitors can view the Degree Show till the 24th of December from 10 am to 5 pm while observing Covid precautions.
