In a much-anticipated announcement, the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has declared the Inter 2nd Annual Result 2023, earlier today.
The released data shows a pass rate of only 35.75 percent among the candidates. Of the 53,000 students who appeared for the exam, merely 18,000 managed to pass. This indicates a failure rate of 64 percent, with 35,000 students unable to clear the exam.

Similarly, the performance in the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad was not very promising either, with a pass rate of 38.79 percent. According to the board controller, out of 24,033 students (both male and female) who sat for the exam, just 9,322 were able to pass.

In related news, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has recently announced an extension for submitting admission forms for the Secondary School Certificate (Matric) Annual Examination. The deadline for submitting forms with the standard fee is now December 22. Additionally, the deadlines for submitting forms with double and triple fees have been extended to January 05, 2024, and January 13, 2024, respectively.
