Iqra University (IU) North Campus (IUNC), in connection with the World Food Day, held an awareness seminar on the benefits of healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, dry fruits, and others that are helpful in maintaining the body’s immunity.

Professor Dr Muhammad Masroor said, on the occasion of “World Food Day” our motto is that the youth educated in the Department of Health Sciences can brighten the name of Iqra University with a better future.

This seminar is a step in this direction for youth education in the Department of Health Sciences to highlight their image. There is an urgent need to intake meat, eggs, milk, and clean water, have 3 meals a day and use other items in balance, which will always restore your health and will not cause laziness. He requested the head of the nutrition department to continue to organize such awareness seminars so that the students here can be attracted to a balanced diet, rest, sleep, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle.

On this occasion, the students also displayed prepared items and posters regarding different foods and their use. At the end of the ceremony, Prof Dr Muhammad Masroor presented the shield to Amina Mujeeb Khan and distributed certificates to the students who succeeded in the competition.

Dr Ziyad Furqan, Dr Tooba Mehfooz, and Lecturer Lorner Chikoto were also on the grounds. The host, Teresa Shakeel, and Warda Sagheer performed the head.
