Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) signed a Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with the Holy Family Hospital to provide laboratory test facilities at discounted rates at JSMU’s Diagnostic Laboratory.
JSMU Vice Chancellor Professor Amjad Siraj Memon hosted a ceremony in the board room of the University in which the Registrar Dr Azam Khan and Holy Family Hospital’s Medical Director Professor Dr Marie Andrades signed the MoU.
According to the MoU, Jinnah Sindh Medical University Diagnostic Lab will provide 24-hours laboratory services to the Holy Family Hospital at 25% discount. The MoU will be valid for a period of one year, commencing from January 12, 2023.
The Vice Chancellor Professor Amjad Siraj Memon said that JSMU Diagnostic Laboratory and Blood Bank is determined to maintain its quality, establishing new labs and collection points across the city to provide test facilities for the citizens at a reasonable price.
“Well-known hospitals like Holy Family are valuable partners of the University in providing high quality diagnostic services to people at an affordable cost”, he added.
Appreciating the quality of the tests conducted in JSMU Diagnostic Laboratory, Professor Dr Marie Andrades said that the JSMU Diagnostic Laboratory is a “one-window solution” for Holy Family Hospital and this MoU will enhance the relationship between these two eminent institutions of the city.
Head of the Diagnostic Laboratory Associate Professor Dr Naveed Uz Zafar with Manager Hasnain Abbas and Dr Rubina Farooqui, Senior Registrar of the Holy Family Hospital witnessed the signing.
