JSMU releases the list of eligible candidates for private medical colleges

Jinnah Sindh Medical University has released the list of eligible candidates on its website for admission to private medical colleges in Sindh.

A total of 12,128 applications were received at the JSMU admissions portal for admission in MBBS and BDS programmes in all private medical and dental colleges and universities of Sindh.

According to Dr. Fatima Abid, Director Admissions at JSMU, the university received a total of 12,128 applications for admissions on a total of 1,940 seats in MBBS and BDS programmes of the private medical and dental colleges and universities in Sindh. After scrutiny of applications, the list of 6,781 eligible candidates was released on the portal.

According to the instructions by the government of Sindh, the minimum pass percentage of 50% in MDCAT was considered. Candidates can view their status at portal by entering their National Identity Card number. Candidates who have submitted applications and want to make any corrections in their records or documents can do so on the portal within two days.

Dean of Medicine Prof. Masroor Ahmed, who is in charge of the affairs of the university in the absence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Shahid Rasul, said that the traditions of transparency and merit in admissions will be maintained.
