A total of 23 candidates appeared for the computer-based examination for admission to the Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) programme at Jinnah Sindh Medical University on Tuesday.

The Entry Examination was jointly organized by the Office of Admissions, Institute of Medical Education-JSMU, and IT Department. Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Shahid Rasul, visited the examination venues to check the implementation of Covid-19 SOPs. “In view of the rising cases of covid-19 in Karachi, the health and safety of our staff and the candidates is our top priority,’ he said.

“All the candidates were instructed to wear protective safety gear and observe social distancing during the entire duration in compliance with the Government SOPs,” Director Admissions Dr Fatima Abid shared.

Director IME-JSMU Professor Syeda Kausar added that the other component of MHPE Admissions interviews, the Multiple Mini Interviews, had to be postponed following the directives of the Government of Sindh regarding the prevailing situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
