The University of Karachi announced schedule for the elections of the Academic Council from the constituencies of Associate Professors and Assistant Professors and Lecturers.
The KU Registrar Professor Dr Abdul Waheed said that the elections would be held on June 23, 2021, at the Arts Auditorium from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
He mentioned that two Associate Professors and four Assistant Professors and Lecturers of the teaching departments would be elected through these elections. The last date of submission of the nomination paper is Monday. June 14, 2021. These papers could be submitted by 1:00 pm at the Registrar Office while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is Friday, June 18, 2021, till 12:30 pm.
According to him, the final list of the candidates would be put on display on June 18, 2021 by 3:00 pm.
