The students of the foundation year of the department of the visual studies the University of Karachi has completed the project miniature landmarks of Karachi, the in-charge KU VS Tania Nasir said on Friday.

She mentioned that this particular project was part of their materials and processes course which serves as a beginner’s guide for the students of the foundation year and requires them to explore various mediums and techniques, both practically and conceptually.

According to her, our goal, this semester was to allow the students to experiment with an array of mixed media and create real-life architectural landmarks of Karachi on a miniature scale. Tania Nasir lauded that the result is a remarkable showcase of one and half months of exceptional effort and learning on the students’ part.

She said that the department is arranging an exhibition to display the work of students of the first year on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Foundation Hall Department of Visual Studies from 11am till 1pm.
