Karachi University Officers Welfare Association strongly condemns the violence against employees and officers of Dow University of Health Sciences. KUOWA believes that the use of power doesn’t help in solving the issues. All the problems can only be resolved with mutual understanding, KUOWA President Dr Muhammad Hassan Auj said in a statement issued on Monday.
While referring to the use of forces during the DUHS Convocation 2021, he mentioned that it was a very unfortunate incident that happened with the employees and officers of Dow University of Health Sciences.
“We KUOWA strongly condemn the use of power by law enforcement agencies against the officers and the employees of DUHS. We stand with our officers and employees and expect an apology at least from the Administration and LEAs. All legitimate demands of officers should be accepted by the administration.”
Dr Hassan Auj reiterated that the use of power cannot resolve any issue and added that KUOWA is standing with DUHS employees and demanded that the medical university’s administration should immediately accept legitimate rights at the earliest.
He said that if thousands of different diseases are being diagnosed and treated at the university on a daily basis, it is only possible due to the hard work, dedication, and dedication of the officers and employees.
