LCWU inks MOU with Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Lahore College for Women University and Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy.

Dr. Aqsa Shabbir Director ORIC outlined the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza, Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University and Shahid Javed Burki, Vice Chairman, Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy.  Addressing the function, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza said that Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy is doing a great job by providing scholarships to the needy students to complete their education.

 Shahid Javed Burki, a Pakistani-American economist and former Vice President of the World Bank, while referring to the MoU, said that the needy and promising students of Lahore College for Women’s University would get financial assistance in the form of scholarships.

The two institutions agreed to continue their cooperation. Deans and directors of various departments also attended the function.
