Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon has said that learning based activity is a good technique to teach intellectually and physically challenged children in order to enable them to lead a better and independent life.

This he said while visiting DEWA Karachi campus. On this occasion Director General Ghulam Nabi Nizamani was also present there. CEO DEWA Rizwan Ahmed Lodhi and other members of the DEWA management SACM Sadiq Ali Memon.

He visited the campus to see the learning abilities, skills and talents of the students. He showed keen interest in the activities of the students and appreciated the hard work and dedication of the students and the staff members too.

On this occasion SACM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon was briefied about the health care, education, transport and hostel facilities, which were being provided to the students at DEWA.

SACM Sadiq Ali Memon added, ‘ The role of NGOs in uplifting the life of the persons with disabilities is really good and in collaboration with them, Sindh Government is also taking many measures to bring a positive change in the lives of the persons with disabilities and to make them to lead a respectable life’. He said that we should discourage beggary among the persons with disabilities but to encourage them to learn various skills and trades to live independently.
