Liaquat Medical University Jamshoro hosted a one-day national seminar on identification and treatment of infectious diseases in children.
The seminar was inaugurated by the LUMHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ikramuddin Ujjan. He said that children are a blessing of Allah and before and after the birth of these children the development of the child is very important. The mothers should breastfeed their babies who can improve the health of mother and baby.
Most babies suffer from immunity, short stature, diabetes, sexually transmitted diseases and other diseases by not breastfeeding.
On this occasion, Dr. Jamal Raza, Dr. Mohsina Ibrahim, Dr. Abdul Rehman Sial, Dr. Farzana Sheikh, Dr. Abdul Hameed, Dr. Shazia Memon, Dr. Ghulam Shabbir and others presented their research papers. Speakers pointed out that there are no pediatricians in small and big cities of Sindh except Karachi. This seminar has been organized to fill this gap. In which young doctors from all over Sindh participated. These young doctors will be trained and will work better for the health of children in their respective areas.
