The Vice Chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Professor Ikramuddin Ajan and Dean Dentistry Professor Feroz Kalhoro inaugurated the Dental Digital Library at the Dentistry Institute on Saturday.
The library’s content is stored in digital format and accessed via computer, laptop or mobile. This material can be stored locally and accessed from anywhere. Dean Denster Feroz Kalhoro said that the purpose of creating a digital library is to make it easier for students to study. Now they would be able to read expensive books on their mobile phone and other devices.
Appreciating the efforts made by library staffers for digitizing the content, the VC distributed awards among the digital library staff.
