Vice Chancellor LUMHS Prof. Ikram Din Ujjan performed the ” Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony” of HEC Pakistan sponsored two projects at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro on 9th February 2022.
While addressing the participants the Vice Chancellor expressed that the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has sponsored the establishment of “Hostel for Postgraduate Students” and “Sports Complex for Girls Students” of this University, after completion of all the required formalities the construction work has been started for both the projects.
He added that the Hostel for Postgraduate Students will be having one hundred rooms to accommodate more than 200 students, this hostel shall be beneficial for the Doctors working round the clock in the Hospital, as at present there is no such facility available to cater them with a comfortable living environment.
The Sport Complex is being established for the female students only and the site has been selected within the boundary walled compound of the female hostels, so that they can avail the opportunity of sports in a safe and secured atmosphere.
