Capital University and DBTV Signs MoU To Promote Mobile Journalism

Capital University of Science and Technology and Digital Broadcast Television (DBTV) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote mobile journalism and provide training to students in the field of media. The MoU will enable the students to learn new means of communication, especially about Mobile Journalism.

On the occasion, Service Directorate Director Prof Dr Shaukat Iqbal termed the MoU as a new chapter of cooperation between the two sides and said that it would be helpful to provide opportunities to the students to explore new ways in the media industry. He hoped the student will take benefit from Mobile journalism to serve humanity and society. No society can highlight the achievements without a vocal media and mobile journalism will empower students through the latest information and new trends in media, he remarked. He further said new trends in the media industry can play a great role to reduce the gap between different sectors of society.

In her remarks, DBTV General Manager Bakhtawar Mehmood said the training aimed to equip students with modern techniques to truly demonstrate their creative work. She said DBTV would extend all sort of cooperation to Capital University of Science and Technology and the students. She said it will be a great opportunity for both sides to take benefit from each other’s experiences to serve humanity through information.
