MoU signed to set up Women Development Centre at UHE

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today to establish a Women Development Centre at University of Home Economics, Lahore.

The objective of the MOU is to raise awareness among women and facilitate them for Career Planning & Professional Development, Research activities Etc. The Centre would be established in the current year with a one-time grant from Women Development Department (WDD), Punjab.

UHE, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen and WDD Punjab Secretary Ms. Ambreen Raza signed the 10-point accord at a ceremony at the UHE.

Sajeela Naveed, Director of Directorate of Women Development, Ms. Rozina Sadiq Registrar UHE, Dr. Nazma Malik Director External Linkages and Ashfaq Ahmad Bukhari, Deputy Director of Directorate Women Development were also present the ceremony.
