Musician Kashan Admani has gathered together the leading artists of the country to produce a song titled “Taare”, as a part of ‘Music for a Cause’ campaign that supports education. The song “Taare” for the very first time will bring together 31 prominent artists of the country to propagate a united cause and is a project of the Dreamstation  Production House, in collaboration with ‘The Citizen Foundation’.
In present times, Pakistan faces an education crisis that needed urgent attention. According to a report by Alif Ailaan, almost 22.6 million boys and girls were out-of-school in the country. Moreover, children who were enrolled at schools only had access to substandard education. The report further stated that 43 percent government schools lacked the provision to basic facilities such as boundary walls, bathrooms, clean water and furniture, posing serious threats to the safety of children.

Emphasising the pertinence of education in Pakistan, Admani said  the intention behind the song was to inspire the fortunate or privileged class to ponder over the future of the disadvantaged children, considering them as their own. He said, “If we don’t educate them today, you can only imagine the kind of society we’ll leave behind for our future generations. Education for all is the need of the hour. There are almost 23 million children out of schools in Pakistan.”

Talking about the efforts of “The Citizen Foundation” he said the organisation was committed to providing quality education to the disadvantaged segments of the society. Music and art can play a pivotal role to highlight the pressing issues of the society and hence the initiative ‘Music for a Cause’ will provide the much-needed support to the TCF, the musician added.

Appreciating the efforts of Kashan, Team TCF added, “This initiative was led by Admani and he suggested to contribute to TCFs cause by developing a song to raise awareness about TCF.”

The song ‘Taare” has been composed, arranged and produced by Admani, while the song was mixed, recorded and mastered at the Dreamstation Productions. The song features Alycia Dias, Asad Rasheed Umar Naru, Farooq, Ali Khan, Zain, Shan Rajput, Asad Ahmed, Omran Shafique, Abbas Ali Khan, Ahsan Bari, Natasha Baig, Rafay Israar, Quaid Ahmed, Fahad Ahmed, Zhalay Sarhadi, Nazia Zuberi, Alfred D’mello, Saif Abbas Rizwan, Waqas Hussain, Kashan Admani, Alex Shahbaz, Emad Rehman, Sherry, Bilal, Vais, Shane, Rehan, Saad Hayat, Afsheen Hayat, Hira Mani, Usman Riaz, and Babar Shaikh.

Talking about the experience of working and bringing together 31 artists, the musician said “Since this was a pro bono venture, we asked all the artists we were in touch with and who were available in Karachi to participate and almost everyone agreed to own the cause and contributed. I wanted this project to have as many contributors as possible so that we could create the needed impact.”

Admani is regarded as one of the leading musicians and producers of the country. He started playing the keyboard at the age of five and composed his very first song in grade four. By grade eight, Admani started his own musical band which was greatly influenced by the rock bands of the ’70s and ’80s. His passion for music led to the creation of Mizmaar band and later his very own production house in the year 2005. Admani through his music has tried to influence his audiences positively and as a token of appreciation, Shark Guitar FX designed a special guitar at his name.

The song will release on Tuesday at 5 pm on Dreamstation Production’s YouTube channel.
