NAB awards students for participating anti corruption competitions

Lahore: In connection to celebrate International Anti-Corruption Day as per United Nations Convention, National Anticorruption Bureau (NAB) Lahore organized various competitions in Punjab to create awareness among students against corruption.

A grand prize giving ceremony was organized by NAB at Al-Hamra here on Thursday. The chief guest of the function was Raja Yasir Humayun, Minister for Higher Education, Punjab, where as Secretary Education Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari, DPI Colleges Dr Ashiq Hussain, renowned singer Abrar-ul-Haq, Arif Lohar, cricketer Muhammad Yousuf, Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq, a large number of senior government officials, bankers, university vice chancellors encouraged the students with their participation.

Senior NAB officials welcomed all the distinguished guests. Addressing the function, the distinguished guests appreciated the efforts of NAB against corruption and urged the youth to unite against corruption. NAB Lahore officials thanked the distinguished guests for coming and for their cooperation in NAB’s awareness campaign.

At the end of the ceremony, cash prizes along with certificates and prizes were distributed among the successful students.
