National Institute of Management Karachi delegation visits SMIU

The delegation, comprising senior officers trained in the 30th Senior Management Course in the National Institute of Management Karachi, visited Sindh Madressatul University on Monday (SMIU). The delegation was led by Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Chief Instructor of the National Institute of Management Karachi.

Welcoming the guests, SMIU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mujeebuddin Sahari Memon said that this historic institution had created a large number of national leaders including the Quaid-i-Azam. Famous personalities from all the fields of life, including education, law, sports, arts, and many others studied here.

“Today, it is a great pleasure to see senior and capable officers serving in various departments across the country are at SMIU,” said Dr. Sahrai, he added, “Our institution is very old but we have been a university for only 10 years but we are still providing quality education in IT, Artificial Intelligence, Software Science, Education, and Social Sciences as per market requirements.”

In addition, the university contributes around 60M towards the expenditure of SMI school to keep the original history of the Quaid-e-Azam and its institution.

He added that I am delighted to see that senior officers were getting training at this stage.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Instructor of the National Institute of Management Karachi, Abdul Khaliq Shaikh, said, “It is an honor that we are present in the institution where many of the country’s great leaders, including Quaid-i-Azam, received education.

“We must not lose our values and remember the great people who founded this institution, including Quaid-e-Azam and Hassanally Effendi,” said Shaikh.

Sindh Police’s SSP Jail Mohammad Aslam Malik also spoke.

In the end, Vice-Chancellor presented a shield to Asif Ali, Director Staff of the delegation.  The Registrar, the Dean of the Faculty, the Academic Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, and the Director of Finance were also present.
