NCA observes Kashmir Solidarity Day

National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore observes Kashmir Solidarity Day on Sunday, February 5, 2023. On the occasion of this day, a big picture wall is made outside NCA on Mall Road, while an exhibition of posters was organized in Zahoor-ul-Akhlaq Gallery NCA about Kashmir Day.

Along with this, NCA also released a special documentary to highlight the oppression of Kashmiris and show solidarity with Kashmiris.

In his Message, Vice-Chancellor NCA Prof Dr Murtaza Jafari said that the purpose of this day is to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to make them believe that Kashmir is the aorta of Pakistan. We will continue to support our Kashmiri brothers and sisters in every possible way for a just and peaceful solution to the conflict in Jammu and Kashmir. Like every year, this year also on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Pakistani nation wishes to achieve the right of self-determination for its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

He said that self-determination is a fundamental right of Kashmiris which has been recognized by the United Nations through the UN platform. Pakistan has always provided moral and political support to the oppressed Kashmiris and raised its voice for them on every international platform.

A large number of senior faculty, students and staff participated in the Kashmir Solidarity Day at the National College of Arts.
