In a significant step towards strengthening educational frameworks and improving the quality of education in Pakistan, NCC Education UK and the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC) Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Manchester. The ceremony marked the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering Pakistan’s educational regulatory systems and elevating the skills and knowledge of local students.

The MoU outlines a comprehensive plan to support the initiatives of Pakistani regulatory authorities. Key elements of the agreement include:

1. Support for Educational Regulatory Frameworks: NCC Education will provide technical assistance and expert consultation to aid Pakistani educational regulatory bodies. This includes training delegations from local educational boards to enhance the quality standards of these boards.

2. Enhancement of Student Skills: The partnership will introduce the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies to Pakistani students. This program aims to bridge gaps in knowledge and skills, preparing students for higher education on an international scale.

3. Adoption of Best Practices: By adopting best practices in educational methodologies and regulatory frameworks, the partnership seeks to foster an environment of educational excellence in Pakistan.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director IBCC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. He highlighted how this MoU aligns with Pakistan’s strategic goals for education, aiming to empower students and enhance their academic and professional prospects.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting educational excellence in Pakistan,” said Rebecca Gooch, Director of Quality, Training & Development at NCC Education. “By providing expert consultation and adopting best practices, we aim to raise the standards of local educational boards and help Pakistani students achieve their full potential.”

The collaboration is expected to have a profound impact on the Pakistani education system, paving the way for future initiatives that will continue to elevate the standards of education in the country. Both NCC Education and IBCC Pakistan expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership and their dedication to making meaningful contributions to the educational landscape of Pakistan.
