NED starts first session of entry test 2022

The NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET) on Monday started the first session of the entry test 2022 which is being conducted from July 30 to August 3.

The results of the first phase of the test will be announced on August 3. Like the last time, the purpose of taking the entrance test twice is to facilitate as many students as possible.

According to the university spokesperson, in the recent test, around eight thousand seven hundred and forty students, including 5766 candidates from Karachi, are expected to participate. The number of male candidates is 6006 while 2734 female students are expected to participate in the first session.

The students are advised to wear a face mask, use sanitizer and bring water bottles. In view of covid-19, this test is being conducted in 4 shifts from 9 am to 6 pm to keep the social distancing. A test seat consists of 800 students.

The entry test is being conducted for 2218 regular and 631 self-financed seats including 69 regular and 21 self-financed seats of the Thar Institute of Engineering, Sciences and Technology. The merit list will be displayed on September 5 while interviews of the successful candidates will be conducted after the completion of both the test sessions.

The second session of the NED entry test 2022 will be held from August 22 to August 26, while the results of the second test will be announced on the evening of August 26. The academic year of NED University of 2022 is likely to start from October 17.
