NUML university students expressed their satisfaction on twitter over the decision made by the varsity.

Different rounds of talks were held between the protesters and university administration over the last week. A large number of protesting students staged their protest for the online exams and raised their concerns on conducting the on-campus papers.

The protesting students argued that if they attended online classes throughout the semester then exams must be held online.

The decision was taken after the Higher Education Commission advised universities to conduct exams on capacity & need for fair assessment. The HEC took notice of the concerns raised by students of some universities that their examinations should be conducted online.

The apprehensions of students were reviewed carefully in consultation with the Vice Chancellors of all the provinces and regions, keeping in view the difficulties brought about by the pandemic and opening of universities from February 01, 2021.
