The Professional Development Centre (PDC) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) celebrated the successful conclusion of the Certificate in Educational Leadership & Management program for college principals from Balochistan. The closing ceremony was presided over by the Honourable Madam Minister for Education, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, who served as the chief guest.

The program, a joint initiative by NUST’s PDC and the Balochistan Academy of Continuing Training (BACT), aimed to enhance leadership and management skills among principals to drive academic and institutional growth in the region.
Participants from male and female colleges shared their experiences, expressing a strong commitment to applying the knowledge gained from the program to foster improvement within their institutions.
Dr. Saeed Ur Rehman emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving educational objectives. He reaffirmed NUST’s dedication to supporting BACT in improving educational infrastructure, research facilities, and human resources in Balochistan. Dr. Rehman encouraged the principals to utilize NUST’s extensive ecosystem to amplify the impact of their efforts at their respective institutions.
The Secretary of Education, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir, lauded the NUST-BACT partnership as a testament to mutual support and brotherhood. He also announced plans for a global retreat to further enhance the professional development of Balochistan’s principals.
