Only 43.29% of candidates passed the test for MBBS admission, while over half (56.70%) of those who took the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in Sindh failed to qualify for BDS admission, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV channel.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!As per the final results, 50.66% of students qualified for BDS admission, and 56.70% did not meet the criteria for MBBS. A total of 32,200 candidates appeared for the test, conducted by IBA Sukkur.
Out of all candidates, only 43.29% cleared the MBBS test. Notably, just 10 students from Karachi made it to the top 100, while the majority failed to qualify for MBBS. Candidates from Ranipur, Badin, Khairpur, and Tharparkar achieved the highest score of 192 marks.
The Sindh government assigned the IBA Sukkur University to conduct the MDCAT after Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi chose to step back from managing the exam. The MDCAT is a vital test for students aspiring to enroll in medical and dental colleges across the province.
