Pak Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges organized the 16th Maarif Inter School Math Olympiad (MISMO). In this regard, a prize distribution ceremony was held at Pak Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges Raiwind Road.
Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Mehmet Pachaji, Turkish Council General Lahore Mr Amr Ozbay, Country Director Haroon Koch Al-Adali, Chairman Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dr Mirza Habib Ali, well-known businessman Ayub Sabir Izhar, Sahir Rashid, Regional Director of Maarif Mr Orhan were present on occasion whereas large number of students and parents from all over Punjab also participated in the event.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the anthems of both countries were played. After that prizes were distributed among the position holders of the Maarif Inter-Schools Math Olympiad.
Speaking at the ceremony, Turkish Ambassador Dr Mehmet congratulated the winning children and appreciated the efforts of Maarif School management for organizing the 16th MISMO and Country Director Mr Harun Koch Al-Adali said that more than 17000 students from all over the country participated in the MISMO. Female students participated and more than 4000 students participated in Lahore Regional which is an indication that MISMO is a successful program.
