The Parents Association Sindh on Saturday demonstrated protest against a private school where a 5th class student Miam Zahra and her father Zeeshan was assaulted by the school administration.

He said this was not observed only in one school, but of almost all private schools on daily basis physically abusing the parents while the Sindh government is silent over these incidents.

“We are with the affected families seeking justice against the private owners. An FIR should be registered against the school administration and the registration canceled”.

This is the negligence of the Sindh government. Education in Sindh has been destroyed due to which around 6.5 million children are out of school.

A majority of the 49,000 schools are closed. The Sindh government is closing another 10,000 schools while the private education sector flourishing in the province. But the provincial government is pouring the money into the pockets of corrupt people. This is why private school owners exploiting the situation forcing the parents to pay more in the name of education. It is because the provincial government has no vision to uplift education and ensure quality education.

On the occasion, the mother of the victim told reporters that our children have been studying in the same school for the last five years. We should be given justice by taking action against the school administration.

Later, the Sachal Police Station registered FIR against the school administration while Minister of Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah had already told the concerned authorities to investigate the matter and present report on Monday.
