A three-member delegation of the Pakistan Information Commission Islamabad will visit the Department of Mass Communication University of Karachi on Thursday.

The Chief Information Commissioner Mohammad Azam, Information Commissioner Fawad Malik, and Information Commissioner Zahid Abdullah would meet the faculty, students, and employees in the department to enlighten them about the Right to Access to Information Act-2017.

The delegation is visiting the campus to create awareness about the act which is a fundamental right under Article 19-A of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The PIC members would brief the faculty members, students, and employees regarding the importance and reasons for implementing the Right to Access to Information Act-2017 in every public intuition
