The students of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore come forward to raise awareness in society, especially youngsters against the drug through their artwork as the institutions organized an exhibition featuring an anti-drug awareness campaign.

The exhibition displayed the paintings, and artwork done by the students of various programs and different departments of PIFD. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof Hina Tayyaba Khalil, Vice Chancellor PIFD.

The arranging of an anti-drug awareness campaign through a painting exhibition was aimed at educating students and the general public about the hazards associated with the use of drugs. Students conveyed messages to youth to avoid drug use and get rid of different types of drugs. They also highlighted the hazards, problems and health issues due to the excessive use of drugs.

While appreciating the students, Prof Hina Tayyaba Khalil said that they have highlighted this very important issue in an excellent way through their artwork. She emphasized that such awareness campaigns should be held regularly, particularly for the young generation, to save precious lives and the future of brilliant minds.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were also distributed among the participants.

Meanwhile, a two-day Athleisure Shoes Design workshop for the students of the Department of Leather Accessories and Footwear concluded at PIFD. The workshop was conducted by PUMA North America.
