LinkedIn

The Private Schools Association has rejected the government’s decision of extending winter vacations and announced to open schools from Tuesday.

The Punjab government on Monday announced an extension in winter vacations until January 12. President All Pakistan Private School Federation Kashif Mirza has rejected the government’s decision of extending winter vacations. He said that all private schools across the country would remain open and classes would be held as per scheduled.

Mirza was of the view that the government should take back its decision and it must take steps to provide peaceful academic environment to the students. On the other hand, District Education Authority (DEA) CEO has announced that the government would make sure that all schools remain closed. If any of the schools open against the government’s directive,   notices would be served and strict action would be taken against the management, he added. He said that the decision was taken after keeping the harsh weather conditions in view.
