Prof. Dr. Jan Mohammad Marri has been appointed as the first Pro Vice Chancellor of the Umerkot sub-campus of Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam.

After the approval of Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Dr. Jan Mohammad Marri, Professor, Department of Plant Protection, Sindh Agriculture University, has been appointed as Pro Vice Chancellor, Umerkot, a sub-campus of the Sindh Agriculture University,

Dr. Marri is the Dean, Faculty of Crop Protection and he has also been the Director of Umerkot Campus; the notification has been issued of his appointment as the first Pro-Vice Chancellor for the sub-campus for the next four years.

Dr. Jan Mohammad Marri got PhD degree from the Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam, and a postdoctoral fellowship from Imperial College London, he has represented Pakistan in various countries of the world in the field of agriculture.
