PU Chinese Language Instructor Wins Top Teaching Award

Abdullah Ze Hasham, a distinguished Chinese language instructor at the Confucius Institute of Punjab University (PU), has been honored with the title of ‘Outstanding Local Chinese Language Teacher-2024’. This esteemed recognition was awarded by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), an agency affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

The award celebrates Abdullah Ze Hasham’s exceptional contributions to the promotion and teaching of the Chinese language. As part of this prestigious accolade, Mr Hasham had the opportunity to participate in a two-week intensive training program at Beijing Normal University (BNU), further enhancing his skills and knowledge in language education.

Prof Dr Shafiq-Ur-Rehman, Host-Director of the Confucius Institute at Punjab University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr Hasham.
