Punjab University (PU) Centre for Social Development and Social Entrepreneurship (CSDSE) in collaboration with Connected Pakistan – a leading digital freelancing agency, conducted a seminar on ‘Digital Freelancing Leading to Entrepreneurship’.
On this occasion, University of Okara (UoO) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmad, Director CSDSE Dr Tahira Jabeen, PU Director General Information Technology Prof Dr Kamran Abid, faculty members and more than 200 students from across the university were present.
Dr Sajid Rashid and Dr Kamran Abid highlighted the university’s efforts to equip students with new skills especially IT & entrepreneurship. Dr Tahira Jabeen shared the aims and objectives of the event while young entrepreneurs and technical experts from the field also spoke in the seminar.
Punjab University has awarded ten PhD degrees to the scholars in which Ayesha Sadiqa D/o Shahid Pervez in the subject of Communication Studies, Muhammad Naseer S/o Muhammad Shabbir in the subject of Education, Muhammad Rizwan Hyder S/o Shah Muhammad in the subject of Education, Abida Shehzadi D/o Khalil Ahmad in the subject of Molecular Biology, Zahid Iqbal S/o Muhammad Iqbal in the subject of Commerce, Surriya Naheed D/o Ch. Muhammad Amin in the subject of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), Humaira Bashir D/o Bashir Ahmad in the subject of Botany, Hafiz Ihsan Ur Rehman S/o Muhammad Akram Arif in the subject of Commerce, Nadia Iqbal D/o Muhammad Iqbal Ch. in the subject of Education and Tahir Ijaz S/o Ijaz Ud Din Ahmed in the subject of Pakistan Studies.
