The Punjab University (PU) Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS) marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 10th Graduation Ceremony on November 30, 2024. The event honored the graduates of the BS Management, Master of Marketing, and Master of Human Resource Management programs from the Class of 2021.

Other distinguished attendees included Prof Dr Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Administrative Sciences; Mr Rauf Nawaz, Controller of Examinations; Prof Dr Kashif Rathore, Director of IAS; Mr Hasan Rauf, Resident Auditor; and Prof Dr Yaamina Salman, Director of External Linkages. Faculty members and students also attended in large numbers to celebrate this memorable occasion.
In his address, Prof Dr Muhammad Ali emphasized the importance of values such as giving and success in personal and professional life. He shared his vision for transforming Punjab University into a globally recognized institution of academic excellence. The Vice Chancellor’s inspiring words left a lasting impression on the graduates and attendees.
Prof Dr Kashif Rathore, Director of IAS, warmly welcomed the guests, faculty, and graduates in his opening remarks. He highlighted the institute’s achievements, outlined its progress, and unveiled ambitious future plans that align with the challenges of a globalized world. Dr Rathore encouraged the graduates to serve their organizations and the nation with compassion and professional integrity. He also expressed his gratitude to the organizing team, led by Dr Sajid Nazir, Program Coordinator, and Dr Aisha Rizwan, Students’ Advisor. Announcing plans to institutionalize the graduation ceremony as an annual tradition, Dr Rathore underscored its significance in fostering academic pride and community spirit.
The highlight of the event was the conferring of degrees and awards to the graduates, symbolizing the culmination of their academic journey. Distinguished guests were presented with shields as tokens of appreciation for their contributions. The program was expertly moderated by a team comprising Dr Sajid Nazir, Dr Aisha Rizwan, Dr Samia Tariq, Dr Zahra Ishtiaq Paul, and Dr Syed Sohaib Zubair.
The ceremony not only celebrated the achievements of the graduates but also reaffirmed IAS’s commitment to nurturing future leaders equipped with the skills and values needed to excel in a rapidly evolving world.
