PUGC and PITB sign MoU for Plan9

Punjab University (PU) Gujranwala Campus (PUGC) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) have signed an agreement (MoU) to promote entrepreneurship and establish Regional Plan9 Centre at Gujranwala Campus.

In this regard, the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held in the committee room of the Vice-Chancellor’s office here on Tuesday. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Asghar Zaidi, DG Gujranwala Campus Prof Dr Naveed Ahmed, Director External Linkages Dr Soabia Khurram and others were present. In his address, Dr Zaidi said that with this agreement, the students of Punjab University and the youth of the area would get an opportunity to start their own businesses.

He said that the Plan9 team and PU students would work on innovations and make this project successful. He said that the establishment of the Regional Plan9 Incubation Center at the Gujranwala Campus would also solve the employment problems of the youth. He lauded PITB’s Regional Plan9 project and said that PU would play its role to realize the motives behind the project. He also directed the officials concerned to prepare a curriculum for the promotion of entrepreneurship culture under Plan9.


Punjab University Department of Examinations has issued the schedule for online submission of admission forms & fees for the LLB (3-year) Part-I, II & III supplementary examination 2022 and LLB (feesear) Part-I, II, III, IV & V supplementary examination 2022. According to details, the last date for receipt of online admission forms with a single fee of said exams for late college candidates is January 25, 2023.
