He also requested all the children and their families in his tweet to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19.
On the other hand, All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) has announced that there would be no summer holidays in private educational institutions across country this year.
According to details, the President of All Pakistan Private Schools Federation Kashif Mirza said that it is impossible to compensate the educational loss of students for 18 months by closing down educational institutions.
The schools will remain open between 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The students are allowed to attend schools in casual dress rather than uniforms, he said adding that the decision was taken in view of extreme weather conditions.
Kashif Mirza further announced that those institutes who have the facility can take online classes.
