Punjab School Education Minister Murad Raas has said latest information technology (IT) will be utilized to harmonize the school education system with the needs and requirements of modern times. International models will be introduced in public sector schools in Punjab to expand the intellectual ken of the students by giving them awareness about the latest trends in their studies.
He stated this while talking to various education experts and visitors during his visit to different stalls set up at the Education World Forum 2019 taking place at London. Talking on the occasion, Murad Raas said use of latest equipments’ and educational technology will help the students to improve their performance in studies. PTI government is committed to provide equal opportunities and resources to all the children in Pakistan and solid steps are being initiated for promoting girl’s education. Similarly, government is keen to ensure that children from religious minorities are given full and equal opportunity, as education is the most important right of a child. Furthermore, measures are taken to curb the menace of child labor in Pakistan, as it is a social curse. Punjab schools education department is promoting the use of IT in schools so students can be molded into confident leaders in their respective fields, he added.
Murad Raas visited various stalls set up at the Education World Forum 2019 and was informed about various educational tools and techniques being used in different countries of the world for the promotion of education.
