Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider met with CSS students protesting outside the Governor’s House in Lahore, assuring them that their grievances would be resolved promptly. The students raised concerns over the announcement of the 2025 CSS exams before the results of the 2024 exams were declared, calling it unfair and detrimental to their futures.
Governor Haider pledged to personally take up their demands with President Asif Ali Zardari, emphasizing that no illegal actions would be tolerated. He praised CSS students for their crucial role in the nation’s development and urged them to avoid violence or unlawful activities.
Highlighting the importance of the youth in shaping Pakistan’s future, the Governor encouraged CSS aspirants to contribute positively to the country’s progress in line with modern demands. He acknowledged the unprecedented move by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to announce the 2025 exam schedule without releasing the 2024 results, calling it a historic first.
The students expressed fears about their uncertain futures and appealed for immediate justice, stressing the need for swift resolution to their concerns. Governor Haider reiterated his commitment to the country’s progress and assured the students of his personal involvement in addressing their issues.
