The School Education Department (SED) Govt of Punjab has announced winter vacations schedule 2022-23 for public and private educational institutions.
As per schedule, the winter vacations will be in two phases and divided as per weather of areas. The educational institutions of upper Punjab will be from January 3, to 13, 2023 while in central and southern Punjab the vacations will be held from December 23, 2022 to January 6, 2023.
The districts, which will observe winter vacations from December 23, 2022 to January 6 2023, include Sahiwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Pakpattan, Sheikhupura, Okara, Vehari, Lahore, Khanewal, Khushab, Hafiz Abad, Multan, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Sargodha, Mandi Baha Uddin, Lodhran, Nankana Sahib, and Jhang.
However districts where winter vacations will start from January 3 to 13 include Rajanpur, Jhelum, Mianwali, Attock, Muzaffargarh, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Rawalpindi, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan, and Chiniot.
The decision for vacations was taken by Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while chairing a high-level meeting to review higher education across the province and develop it in accordance with international standards. During the meeting, it was decided to restore sports activities in all educational institutions in order to encourage a healthy lifestyle in society. The meeting participants also highlighted the colleges’ financial independence.

Dear High court and Government institutions se request application ki jati ha k winter vacation started from 12th December and ended to 1st January.ap sab ko chahiye k chutiyaan 12 December se 1st January tak se di jayein kiyun k smog ka shahdid increase hona bohat hi zayada buri suratehaal . eyes infection,fever flu and cough ka cause ha jo awaam k liye bohat hi zayada dangerous ha ap bahir dekhe houses mai rehne se kuchh nii hoga bahir duniya sweaters,caps,socks,handkerchief etc dal ker bhii bemaar ho rahe hain awaam ko sakoon k liye chutiyaan 12 December se hii di jayein apka bohat bohat shukrya dear High court and Government institutions mai chahti hoon k mera message High Court and Government institutions tak zaroor conduct kiya jaye.shukriya

We live in Lahore and doing MBBS in university.
There is alot of SMOG there for previous two days.
We are requesting the government to close all the private and government sectors including university for some weeks.
