LAHORE: Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) once again postponed the assessment test of primary and middle classes which was scheduled for May 18.
According to details, the PEC examinations of class 5 and class 8, scheduled for May 18, have been postponed due to on going coronavirus pandemic situation. Now the exams will be held from June 1 to June 4 across the province.
This year PEC has changed the exams policy as now the result of the exams will not be published but only those students will be promoted to the next class which will perform in examinations.
PEC holds exams of class 5 and class 8 every year and only passing students are promoted to the next classes. This year around 200,000 students from Lahore will be participating in the PEC assessment examinations.
