The 55th meeting of the Standing Sub-Committee of Pakistan University Sports Board (PUSB) & National Workshop on Sports and Health will be held at Sindh Agriculture University on Monday. Arbab Lutufullah, Provincial Assistant for Sports and Youth Affairs will inaugurate the event.
According to the SAU spokesperson, in the collaboration of Higher Education Commission and hosted by Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam the 55th meeting of the Standing Sub-Committees of Pakistan Universities Sports Board based on Sports Directors of Nationwide Universities and three-day National Workshop on Sports and Health will be held from Monday 13 September 2021 to 15 September 2021 at Sindh Agricultural University Tandojam, all preparations have been completed in this regard.
Arbab Lutufullah, Assistant to Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah for Sports and Youth Affairs will be the chief guest at the inaugural event, Provincial Secretary for Sports Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah, Acting Director General Sports HEC Javed Ahmed Memon and Vice Chancellor Dr. Fateh Marri will also be among the guests
The Vice Chancellor Dr. Fateh Marri has tasked an organizing a committee under the chairmanship of Dr Jan Muhammad Marri Dean Faculty of Agricultural Crop Protection to manage the event. Javed Ahmed Memon, DG Kamyab Jawan Sports and Curriculum Division Sports Higher Education Commission will present his dissertation on sports in the country’s universities, while Assistant to CM for Sports Arbab Lutufullah, Secretary Sports Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah Dr. Fateh Marri, Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University Tandojan, Dr. Bekha Ram, Vice Chancellor, Liaquat University of Medical Sciences, Jamshoro and Vice Chancellors of various universities will address the event.
The second technical session of the National Workshop will begin after lunch on the same day, which will be chaired by Provincial Secretary Sports Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah. A large number of directors including lady directors of public and private universities of Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu, and Kashmir will participate in the national workshop.
