The alumni of Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad, gathered for an Eid Milan meet-up at the Arid Agriculture-Barani Institute, Burewala Campus. This landmark event marked the first-ever mega get-together of Quaidians in Burewala, orchestrated by Shahzad Mustafa Chohan, Advisor South Punjab, Professional Advisory Council, QAU Alumni Association Founders Group.

The Secretary General of the QAU Alumni Association Founders Group, Murtaza Noor, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the host for the warm hospitality and excellent arrangements. In his address, Noor underscored the significant contributions of QAU alumni in various sectors both nationally and internationally. He urged alumni to support their alma mater practically, particularly through scholarships and job placements for fresh graduates.
During the event, participants raised a crucial demand to recognize QAU as a flagship institution. They called for an immediate bailout package to address the university’s financial deficit, which exceeds 700 million rupees annually.
Shahzad Mustafa Chohan, the event host, extended a vote of thanks to the participants for their active involvement and the administration of the Arid Agriculture Institute, Burewala, for their cooperation in making the event a success. The gathering was a testament to the enduring bond among QAU alumni and their collective commitment to enhancing their university’s legacy.
