QS Regional Manager Praises PU for Ranking Success

The Regional Manager of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for the Arab-Middle East and South Asian regions, Rami Awad, visited the University of Punjab (PU) and met with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood. During the meeting, Mr Awad congratulated the Vice Chancellor and Dr Usman Awan, Chairman of the Ranking Committee, on PU’s remarkable success in the recently released QS World University Rankings.

Mr Awad highlighted that the sustained policies and dedication of the ranking committee have enabled PU to earn the prestigious ‘Most Improved Asia Region’ award. In addition, PU has been ranked No. 1 in Pakistan for the ‘Employment Outcome’ indicator.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood expressed his commitment to maintaining the university’s focus on academic reputation, employee reputation, and internationalization. He assured Mr Awad that PU’s administration would continue its efforts to improve the university’s standing in future rankings.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for PU, reflecting its commitment to excellence and its increasing prominence on the global academic stage.
